Activities |
Tinkering, for lack of a better term, with electronics, for example, extraneous work on school projects. One project for the electrical class Digital Systems is the programming of a "light-sensing" car. Students modify a radio controlled car with a photo-transistor to sense when the car has passed a reflective finish line. Extended "tinkering" includes controls for turning right or left and reverse capabilities. This curiosity carries over into the computer world, constantly tweaking laptops and PC's for visual styles and greater performance.
